Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Synapse Pro (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Synapse Pro is an AI-powered relationship intelligence platform connecting to Gmail and Google Calendar to surface insights, generate briefings, and draft follow-up emails. Provided on a subscription basis.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract.

4. Free Trial & Subscription

• New accounts receive a 14-day free trial — no credit card required to start
• After the trial, access requires a paid subscription
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Prices: Core $24/mo · Pro $49/mo · Executive $99/mo (USD)
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

5. Payments & Refunds

• Payments processed by Stripe. Subscribing authorises recurring charges.
• All fees are in USD and non-refundable except where required by law
• Cancellation retains access until end of current billing period
• Contact legal@synapse.pro within 7 days of charge for billing disputes

6. Google Account Integration

Connecting Gmail and Google Calendar is optional. By connecting, you grant Synapse Pro access to email metadata and calendar events as described in our Privacy Policy. Revoke access at any time via Google Account settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam, harassment, or illegal activities
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract Service data
• Share account credentials with others
• Use AI-generated content to mislead or defraud recipients
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights

8. AI-Generated Content

AI outputs (briefings, email drafts) are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and sending AI-generated content. Synapse Pro makes no guarantee of accuracy or fitness for purpose of AI outputs.

9. Intellectual Property

Synapse Pro owns all IP in the Service. You retain ownership of your personal data. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Synapse Pro disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synapse Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Total liability shall not exceed amounts paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

• Cancel at any time via Settings → Billing
• We may terminate accounts violating these Terms with or without notice
• Upon termination, your data is deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection law.

14. Changes

Material changes notified by email ≥14 days before effect. Continued use = acceptance.
